
Tabea Zimmermann to record the complete works for viola by Paul Hindemith
The first part of the recordings for the "Hindemith 2013" project has been produced last week in the Siemens Villa Berlin. The sessions included all four solo sonatas. In late summer 2012, Tabea Zimmermann will record all four concertos with the Deutsche Sinfonie Orchester, followed by the three sonatas for viola and piano.
The complete works are scheduled for release within 2013, the 50th anniversary of Hindemith's death.

The Hagen Quartett will be awarded the Echo Klassik 2011
The ensemble will be awarded the ECHO Klassik 2011 in the category "Ensemble of the Year" for their debut album on myrios classics.
Five years after the withdrawal from Deutsche Grammophon, "Hagen Quartett 30" (MYR006) is the first album of this highly respected string quartet. The SACD contains works by Beethoven, Mozart and Webern, and has been praised internationally with reviews and awards such as the „Stern des Monats“ (Disc of the Month) of the German Fono Forum Magazin and the „Choc du mois“ of the french Classica Magazine.
It is the second time that myrios classics's aritsts will be honoured with the prestigios award. Violist Tabea Zimmermann has been awarded the ECHO Klassik in 2010for her album „Solo“ (myrios classics MYR003).

For the second time in a row, Léon Berben has been listed on the quarterly "Bestenliste des Preises der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik" (Prize of the German Record Critic's Association) . The most recent quarter praises Fantasia & Fuge (myrios classics MYR001).

We are delighted to announce that the Hagen Quartett has found a new home at myrios classics. For the celebration of their 30th anniversary, two productions are scheduled to release within 2011.
The first album "Hagen Quartett 30" will include works by Mozart, Beethoven and Webern. The first part of the recording sessions took place at the historic Siemens Villa in Berlin.

The recordings for Gilmore Artist 2010 Kirill Gerstein's debut solo album on myrios classics have been produced last week in the wonderful Reitstadel Neumarkt (Germany).
Besides two major works by Liszt and Schumann, the world premier recording of the enchanted piece "Ophelia's Last Dance" by Oliver Knussen will be featured on the album.
The disc will be available worldwide by the end of 2010.

Recordings for the first duo album with Tabea Zimmermann and Kirill Gerstein are in the bag!
The disc will be released in September 2010 and will include sonatas by Johannes Brahms, Henri Vieuxtemps and English composer rebecca Clarke.
